Hey, I’m Jake Alexander, a photographer from Wellington, New Zealand. My passion for Landscapes, Aerial, and Astrophotography began back in 2017 with nothing more than a Samsung phone and a desire to capture and share the beauty around me.

As a Dive Instructor by trade, I’ve always been drawn to the ocean and the natural world. Photography quickly became an extension of that—an opportunity to freeze the moments that make me stop and appreciate my surroundings.

In 2018, I took the next step and bought my first DSLR, eventually upgrading to a full-frame professional setup in 2019. Over the years, my journey has taken me from land to sea to sky, and adding aerial photography to my portfolio has opened up a whole new way to see and share the world.

Every image I take is a reflection of the places that inspire me—wild coastlines, endless skies, and the ever-changing ocean. Whether it’s the delicate colors of a sunrise over the water, the raw power of a waterfall, or the quiet stillness of the night sky, I strive to capture those fleeting moments that make you pause and take it all in.
